GENERAL REGULATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Hello, we are delighted to welcome you to our house in Los Gigantes.
The VILLA MARIE LUISE is a family property, occasionally rented a few weeks a year, when the occupants are abroad. As this is not a report house: there are a bunch of personal items that we leave at your disposal and other personal matters stored in closed closets.
We invite you to consider this house as yours. We did our best to make this house operational and enjoyable to live.
A swimming pool project is being studied, which may cause inconvenience.
Right now, there’s a lot of work on the street. Unfortunately, we were not warned.
Information was obtained that the part of the yard in front of the house was to be completed by Christmas and access to the open garage.
But that is far from the case, we are sorry.
Access to the house is via the left sidewalk (downhill) and the 2nd walkway. (see the Mandatory page)
To park your car, we invite you to look in the calle Flamboyan, it is a dead end and there are often free places.
We hope you will have a good stay in this wonderful place.

INFORMATION
Respect for the Property and Cleanliness of the villa: The occupants are asked to take care of the house as well as their own.
The VILLA M ARIE LUISE must be left clean and tidy without any damage to the villa or its furniture. The tenant will be held liable for any damage, damage, and/or disappearance of furni ture or any of the items listed in the inventory of the villa that remain under his exclusi ve control throughout his stay.
CAUTION
The paintings made by our neighbor, Mister Momoshi, an internationally renowned painter, have great value. Take great care.
1.1All dishes made available to you must be thoroughly cleaned and stored at your departure.
Make sure you do not leave food that is not carefully sealed to avoid invasion of ants or other animals. Similarly, consider removing crumbs fallen to the bottom of the toaster after use to avoid attracting insects. F
or the same reasons, your garbage, placed in waterproof plastic bags, will have to be taken down every day to be disposed of in nearby municipal garbage bins.
1.2 We will be grateful to you to renew the consumables left at your disposal (not the welcome ones, but water, beer, coffee, potatoes, etc.)
Furniture (Meubles, dishes and decorative objects): Furniture, paintings, dishes and decorative items should not be removed from the villa.
Animals and pets
Absolutely no animal, domestic (cat, dog, bird, etc.) is allowed in the villa. Be careful n ot to feed birds or feed wild or domestic animals.
Prohibition of smoking
The VILLA MARIE LUISE is a completely NON-FUMEUR space. Smoking is prohibited inside the Villa.
Tenants can still smoke outdoors but make sure to clean their as hes immediately and pick up their butts.
Barbecue, Grills, Lights …
For the same reasons of safety, assurance and good neighbourliness barbecues or grills with fire are allowed only in the barbecue area. Furthermore, the use of firecrackers or fireworks is strictly prohibited.
Key(s)
The outer case contains only the key to the outside entrance door. The keys to the house are in a second box located on the ravine side wall. Personally when we are absent for a short time, we leave the house open and close only the outside door to the street.
When you leave, the keys to the villa must be returned to the boxes. If the keys are not returned, a deduction of 30 euros per unreturned key will be c harged.
Renter(s) and occupant(s) of the Villa
Only natural persons and adults, responsible and of good morals can rent the VILLA MARIE LUISE. Under no circumstances may it be rented to persons under the age o f 21.
Reservations made under false pretexts will be subject to cancellation and withholding of all payments made and immediate expulsion without being entitled to any compens ation.
The maximum rental capacity of the villa is 6/8 adults. In all cases the number of persons staying at the VILLA MARIE LUISE shall not exceed the number for which the price of the rental was established when the estimate was drawn up.
Failure to comply with this provision will result in payment of 110 Euros per day per additional person.
Arrival and departure times
The time of arrival at the villa is set from 4pm.
The time of departure from the villa is set at 10 am.
Please be punctual so that we can have time to prepare the villa for our next guests.
Late arrivals or early departures will not result in any discounts or refunds. Private areas: There are closets and a few locked areas in the villa. If it is shown that locks, doors or hinges have been forced, the rental will be immediately stopped and/or a payment of 90 Euros will be required per damaged lock.
Linen/Towels/Miscellaneous supplies
Common linen is provided. No item must have come out of the villa. Any missing or damaged item outside normal wear and tear will be invoiced for 20 Euros per damaged or missing item.
Property and personal effects of tenants
The owners of the VILLA MARIE LUISE cannot be held liable for acts of vandalism, aggression, theft or any damage to the property and personal effects of tenants left in th e villa. Every effort will be made to return the personal effects forgotten by the tenant, at his own expense, without, however, responsibilities for the owners.
Parking
The VILLA MARIE LUISE has a private garage to park several cars. However, watertight work is underway. The garage door remote control is located on a shelf of the living room furniture. Thank you for putting her back in her place after use.
TV / WIFI
The villa is connected to the internet network via cable and has a flow rate of 600GB. The 3 TVs are connected by wifi to the decoder. You can connect your personal devices to the HDMI cable that each device has.
Please do not change the language and settings of TV sets.
For access to streaming services, please use your own resources (mobile devices connected to televisers).
To connect to the WIFI router, the connection codes are as follows:

CAUTION: in case of a problem with the router (Movistar router), DO NOT ever try to change the router’s parameters or perform a « reset to zero ». You would lose any connection to the Internet. Simply disconnect the adapter cord from the power outlet router, wait 30 seconds and reconnect it. Wait about 3 minutes for the router to reset. The router is reset when the four lights are fixed and blue.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is equipped with many electrical appliances. The manuals are stored in a low drawer of the kitchen cabinet.
Drinking water, very calcareous in Tenerife is filtered by the device located in the side cupboard of the corridor. A second device under the sink delivers drinking water (small tap on the left). Thanks for always checking that the freezer and refrigerator doors are properly closed.
MAINTENANCE OF THE VILLA
We hope you will find the Villa in very good cleanliness as it is completely cleaned before and after the departure of each of our renters.
Maintenance products are at your disposal.
The maintenance is provided by ALEXANDRA who will remain at your service if needed during your stay.
Her husband FRANKY can take care of small jobs in case of em ergency.

WATER – ELECTRICITY – JACUZZI
The water comes in the outer case near the entrance door.
The electric panels are located in the cupboard of the corridor bottom.
The jacuzzi, open access, is located on the rooftop. If necessary, you can supply hot/cold water with taps located near the solar water heater.
There are plenty of mattresses for the rooftop lounge chairs in the cupboards.
Warning: hot water can be hot.
After use make sure the jacuzzi taps are perfectly closed.
CLIMATIZATION
The rooms are equipped with ceiling fans controlled by switches and in the living room by a remote control. Due to the climate in Los Gigantes, these devices provide good air conditioning all year round.
HOUSE LINGE
Cleaning of the villa as well as laundry costs (bed linen) are included in the rental price. Towels are provided. You have a washing machine and a dryer in the bathroom of the large bedroom upstairs. Please use only the washing products available next to the washing machine. Drying laundry is better off outside on the terrace.
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE VILLA?
Please check that the taps are closed, the lights off, the doors and windows of the house are properly closed. Thanks for putting the keys back in the boxes.
